We want every guest to leave better than they arrived. These rules are not here to limit your event — they are here so it runs safely and finishes well. They apply in addition to your rental agreement, and if you are booking an event where most attendees will be under 21, you will sign a short addendum covering them before your deposit is taken.
 

Chaperones

One adult chaperone aged 25 or over is required for every five attendees under the age of 21, and chaperones stay on the premises for the whole event, including setup and cleanup.

Chaperones count toward your guest total. Our ceiling is 60 people and everyone on the premises counts, so an under-21 event works out to a maximum of 50 attendees plus 10 chaperones. Plan your invitation list around that number.

You are responsible for the conduct of your chaperones, and for making sure each of them knows the venue rules.

 

No alcohol

Alcohol is not permitted at these events, for anyone of any age, whether or not they are over 21. We may check for it and remove it. This is not negotiable and there is no version of this event with a bar.
 

Times

Under-21 events end by 10:00 PM, and that includes cleanup and vendor load-out. Amplified music ends at 9:00 PM.

Your rental block is the same eight hours as any other booking and the rate is the same — you just choose a start time that lets you finish by 10.

Security
 

We do not provide, arrange or recommend security personnel. If you decide to hire security, you choose and pay the provider directly and send us their certificate of insurance and license 14 days before your event, like any other vendor.

Separately, we keep the right to require licensed security at your expense for a particular event, on at least 14 days' written notice with the reason stated. That is a right we use rarely and only where a specific booking calls for it — it is not a standing requirement for events with younger guests.
 

Insurance

Special event liability insurance is required on this booking, as it is on every booking — $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, naming Toire and Dale Enterprise LLC, T/A Toire aVenue as an additional insured. Your certificate is due 14 days before your event and you choose your own provider.
 

Parental permission
 

If your attendees are under 18, you are responsible for collecting and verifying permission from a parent or guardian. Keep those permissions yourself — we do not collect, request or store them, and we do not hold any personal information about your attendees.

 

Conduct and damage
 

You are responsible for everyone at your event, including chaperones, as set out in your rental agreement. The venue rules on decor, prohibited materials, noise and conduct apply exactly as they do to any other booking, and it is your job to pass them on.

The $500 refundable security deposit applies as normal — due with your final balance 45 days before your event, not at booking, and returned 14 to 30 days afterward with a written itemization within 14 days. Damage or loss beyond $500 remains payable.
